July 25th, 2009 by 'little rascal'

Endorphine

Illumination is celebrating its 10th anniversary on the
21st August as part of Festival Cairns, with a special under 18 community concert at PCYC in Manunda. This event will be on the same night as Illumination 18+ event at AJ Hackett’s Smithfield.

This highly anticipated night out with Music, Dance, Performance and the creative involvement of the punters, dressing up in White Outfits, is Illumination.

The unifying of the crowd creates a conscious 3D moving canvas illuminated under the intelligent lighting and projections. Geometric shapes are suspended to interact with the multi colour laser shows. Both events will reflect the classic Illumination formula in their theme. Set your co-ordinates for Space Travel and prepare yourselves for a voyage in the Vehicle of Light as the organisers have programmed the line-ups allowing the headline acts,

ENDORPHIN (Syd) / MODIFI (Syd) / DAISUKE (Japan)

to play at both events. Support for the night comes from an extensive line-up of local DJ’s/ Producers, Fire Performers, Multi media Visual artists, Drummers and Indigenous performance. The alignment of these two extraordinary events will be documented by the Illumination Film Crew.
