In November of this year Scruffy Goat will have an EP coming out on Slovakian label, Seta. A very cool label with a great catalogue of releases and a really nice crew.

To support Seta and all that they do, i wanted to let you know about a remix comp they have running. If you are a budding producer, or know any who you could pass the info onto, it would be really worth the effort. Check it out:

Slovakian Seta Label have recently announced a remix contest with the artist Pheek. Pheek is head of the Archipel Label and has also had releases on Richie Hawtin’s M_nus label. The track up for remixing is his original tune, Retrouvailles.

The prize package includes:

* One digital release on Pheek’s EP on Seta Label
* Optionally 1 complete EP release on Seta Label
* 15 free tracks from Seta Label back catalogue
* 1 hour mix broadcast on Housemusic.sk, Echolovers.fm and Play.fm
* Broadcast of the winning track on several radio stations worldwide
* 1 hour mix broadcast and also a 10 minutes phone interview on the national Slovak radio station show ‘4elements’
* 1 hour mix broadcast on ‘Melodica’ show on GlobalBeats.fm
* The winning remix will first be 8 weeks exclusively on Beatport, then spread via more than 300 online music stores

The competition runs from September 1 to November 30.
