With financial assistance from the Queensland Government, through Arts Queensland, youth arts organization CONTACT Inc is coming to Cairns to perform as part of the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) conference.

While in Cairns, CONTACT inc is collaborating with local artists, organizations and businesses to deliver Common Ground.

Stomping their best foot forward, ARIA award winning hip hop pioneers Koolism return to Cairns to move minds and soles as part of a massive celebration of multiculturalism and hip hop.

Proudly presented by Brisbane based organization CONTACT Inc and Cairns City Council, Common Ground is a free, all ages event providing artists the opportunity to demonstrate their skills as an emcee, singer, deejay, krumper or break dancer.

The massive Common Ground lineup also features the conscience lyrics and bumping beats of Icey Clique (Brisbane), The Contact Crew (Brisbane) The High Commission (Townsville), Laydeez Biz featuring Dizzy Doolan, Miss-K & Teilz (Brisbane) alongside local favourites Zennith, Smity Blek, Fox, TruBlack, DJ Morphix, ThreeSixFive crew and Circo Loco.

With live vision mixing by Phosphorus and Integrated Media, gift vouchers from
Taste-y Records and Compound Street Culture and hosted by infamous Sydney artist Busty Beats of Sista She fame, Common Ground is a party not to be missed!
